If
you are installing graphics in layers, such as a shadow under lettering.
Lay the first layer down then position the second layer over the top and
repeat the entire process. When laying down graphics that may require a
little positioning as they are applied, it can help to spray a small
amount of application fluid on the surface you are applying the graphic to
before laying down the graphic. The application fluid will allow some
movement of the graphic before it is squeegeed down. Application fluid can
be made in a spray bottle from a cup of water with 2 or 3 drops of liquid
dish soap and about an ounce of isopropyl alcohol. Do not install graphics on hot or cold
surfaces. Surface temperatures should be between 55oF
and 90oF. When in doubt, please give us a call before you start and we will try to help.

Care
and Hanging of a Vinyl Banner With
proper care our vinyl banners can last many years. Be sure to follow the
directions for properly hanging a banner. This is most important when
hanging a banner in open areas where the wind can fill the banner like a
sail. Your banner can be cleaned when needed with a mild soap and rinsed
with water. When storing, make sure the banner is completely dry. Then
roll (don't fold) the banner. Always roll banner with the letters
to the outside. The
best way to hang a banner is between two taut wires above and below the
banner. The wire can be strung between two posts or even two telephone
poles when strung over a street. Tie the top two corners of the banner
straight out from the banner parallel to the wires to keep the banner
centered. Then tie the top side
of the banner at each grommet to the upper wire using carabiner clips or
bungee cords. Use loosely fastened bungee cords to tie the bottom corners; it will allow give when the wind blows.

Care
and Installation of Magnetic Signs
The
vehicle surface and the magnetic backside of the sign should be clean
should be clean, dry and waxed prior to applying.
Installation
Make
contact of one edge of the sign to the vehicle surface in desired location
and then let the adjacent part of the sign contact the vehicle surface
until the entire sign is held magnetically to the vehicle. If sign
is not in desired position, remove sign and repeat. Do not try to
straighten sign by pulling when it is held magnetically to the
vehicle. It may stretch the material, especially in warmer
conditions. Avoid placing sign over chrome trim of surface
protrusions of any kind. The temperature of the sign should be at
least 60o during installation. The temperature of the
vehicle surface does not matter.
Removal
Always
remove the sign by lifting from the center of the opposite sides.
Never start at the corners. This precaution will prevent bent
corners and reduced adhesion.
Caution
Magnetic
vehicle signs will not adhere to areas on your car where plastic or lead
body fillers have been used. Use caution in applying vehicle signs
to areas of your car that have been damaged and repaired to avoid losing
your signs. New paint jobs take time to cure properly. We
suggest you consult with a paint shop or wait 60-90 days before
positioning a magnetic sign on a freshly painted car.
Maintenance
Your
signs should be periodically removed - once a week minimum. Wipe dry
both the vehicle and the back of the sign. Trapped moisture, dirt,
or chemicals may harm your vehicle finish. Clean your sign with
plain water and a mild detergent.
Storage
To
avoid cracking or breaking, do not fold or crease. Always store your
magnetic sign flat.
